Challenge

29th Street Communities was spending significant time and energy conducting property tours across their property portfolio. Paired with high turnover in the industry, 29th Street Communities needed a way to shift staffing resources to the highest-value tasks, and offering self-guided touring enabled the company to address this pain point quickly and efficiently. Tour24 provided exactly the sort of self-guided touring platform that 29th Street Communities needed.

Implementation

29th Street Communities started using Tour24 in April of 2023, and the impact was felt immediately. Tour24 provides prospects an opportunity to schedule appointments after hours, including weekends, and provides prospects with the ability to tour on their own schedule without the need for a 29th Street Communities staff member present. Tour24 also made it easy for prospects to fill out lease applications as soon as their self-guided tours were completed.

Results

After a year of using Tour24, 29th Street Communities has seen impressive results. The company shared the performance results at the Preserve at Winchester Crossing, one of its premier multifamily communities. Located in Groveport, Ohio, the Preserve at Winchester Crossing was built in 2016 and has 197 units.

Using Tour24, the Preserve at Winchester Crossing saw 63% of all scheduled tours successfully completed, with 66% of all tours scheduled and completed on the same day. This highlights how convenient and efficient the platform is for prospects. In fact, 53% of all tours take place within an hour of being scheduled. Before Tour24, this turnaround would have placed a tremendous burden on the Preserve’s staff, taking time out of their already busy schedules to answer phone calls and take prospects on tours.

Tour24 allowed the Preserve at Winchester Crossing to expand available touring hours without taxing the staff. With Tour24, 39% of all tours are now completed outside of normal business hours, with 19% taking place on Saturdays or Sundays.
